Our Teams
All Muddogs players learn the R.O.O.T.S. of the game: To respect the Rules, Opponents, Officials, Team, and Self.​
All of our teams are coached by volunteers. All coaches must have at least a bronze level certification from USA Lacrosse.


High School Boys
Our high school boys Muddogs are a competitive team that combines skill development, high-level play, with the fun and camaraderie that makes Muddogs lacrosse special. They play full field 10 v 10 games and compete against other club, private school, and public school teams throughout the Shenandoah Valley region. The high school boys team won the spring 2025 Appalachian States Lacrosse Conference championship.
High School Girls
Our high school girls Muddogs give female athletes across the Valley the opportunity to play an amazing sport in a supportive and competitive environment. The team focuses on strong fundamentals, athlete development, and game concepts that build skill and confidence on and off the field. After launching their inaugural season in 2023, the team continues to grow and build.


Middle School Boys
The middle school boys' team is focused on developing lacrosse technique and game IQ. They practice on weekdays and compete regionally on the weekends.
Middle School Girls
The middle school girls' team is focused on developing lacrosse technique and game IQ. They practice on weekdays and compete regionally on the weekends.


Youth Boys
The youth boys' team is focused on learning the rules of the men's game and developing the fundamentals of lacrosse. They play small sided, 7 v 7 games throughout the Shenandoah Valley region.
Youth Girls
The youth girls' team is focused on learning the rules of the women's game and developing the fundamentals of lacrosse. They play small sided, 7 v 7 games throughout the Shenandoah Valley region.


Mighty Muddogs
The co-ed Mighty Muddogs focus on learning the fundamentals of lacrosse and developing overall body movement skills. Through age-appropriate, fun, and player-centered small-sided play, athletes build physical literacy, understand the game better, and develop a lifelong love for the sport. The Mighty Muddogs practice twice a week and play intersquad games on Saturdays during the spring season only.
